Follow-up after Moleküli testing

For families who have undergone testing with Moleküli, a dedicated follow‑up appointment is arranged to review the results in detail.
This includes:

This appointment is usually shorter than the initial assessment and focuses entirely on explanation and planning. It is billed at a reduced fee (currently €160) and is arranged once the results are available.

Consultation fees

Moleküli is a private telemedicine practice specialising in clinical genetics.

Consultation fees are not covered by public health insurance. All patients pay privately, regardless of whether they join the consultation from Austria, Hungary, New Zealand or elsewhere.

If you have private health insurance, you may submit the invoice for partial reimbursement. Whether costs are reimbursed, and to what extent, depends on your individual insurance policy.

Laboratory costs and possible reimbursement

If genetic testing is appropriate, it can be carried out at an accredited EU laboratory.

The laboratory will bill you directly for the cost of the analysis, not Moleküli.

Depending on your health insurance, you can submit these invoices for reimbursement.

I am happy to provide the necessary documentation and medical justification. However, I cannot guarantee whether or to what extent any reimbursement will be granted, as this is at the discretion of each insurance provider.
